Our business was born out of necessity when our Founder, Serges Hakizimana, found himself in a refugee camp in Tanzania. He was fluent in French and Kirundi, but he had also learned Swahili as a young boy. There were millions of refugees, with many needing medical care. Serges was found to be an aid to many and was quickly recognized as one that could translate and interpret for those around him. He was put to work as a full-time/unpaid interpreter in the camp taking refugees to hospitals and helping where needed.

It was here that Serges realized how important communication is in our world today.
